I make enamel creature jewellery using a combination of the cloisonne enamel technique and miniature painting enamel. Most of my animals are creatures I see regularly but over the years they are becoming less realistic and more imaginary. I also make enamel miniatures of eyes and tiny portraits.
My work is under 5cm as I use a gas torch rather than a kiln which limits the size.
I am self taught and have been experimenting with enamel for over 25 years I try and use UK manufactured enamel where possible as well as recycled or scrap metal.
