Ruth makes brightly coloured limited edition screenprints and one-off collages. The prints are made by hand in a small studio in North Wales. Her work is carefully presented in conservation standard mounts and bespoke frames. Her work is inspired by animals and plants, folk art, mid-century design and illustration. It seeks to inspire cheerfulness and to lift the spirits with bold colours. Her work draws attention to the value of the details of nature that surrounds us, and its ability to affect our lives for the better. Ruth’s business is devoted to the environment from which it takes inspiration. The studio operates a zero waste policy, re-purposing waste products, and recycling and composting those that can no longer be used.
