CardiShed is a community support and well-being charity. We started in 2021 in response to the high suicide rate amongst men in Ceredigion. We have created a space where people can come together and share skills and learn new ones in an inclusive, supportive and non-judgmental environment. We aim to build community by challenging isolation and loneliness through creativity. We have a carpentry workshop, greenwood workshop, bike repair and other workshop spaces available to the local community.
We offer men’s, women’s and open workshop days. We also run 6 week young people’s craft projects. To ensure that the project is accessible to all parts of our community the cost to attend CardiShed is a voluntary donation of £10 per day plus the cost of materials. This ensures everyone can access our services no matter their financial situation
