Silver wire jewellery workshop

Come and play with silver wire, in this workshop we will look at line, texture and shape. Fully exploring what you can do with the simplest of materials and tools. After this workshop you should feel confident to go away and create your own wire pieces at home. You will leave the workshop with either a pair of earrings or a pendant.
We begin the session with some exploration of line, looking at patterns in nature for inspiration. We then take some time using copper wire to try out different hammers and play with the effects you can create on the wire. Finally we work together to translate your designs into silver.
