Heritage Crafts at Craft Festival Wales

August 14, 2026

Hello!

I hope all is well with you? I’m just getting my feet back on the ground after a spectacular Eisteddfod, Y Garreg Las last week. I bumped into so many friends from Aberteifi and my Craft Family. Wasn’t it great?!

If you are experiencing post-Eisteddfod blues, chin up, there are just 4 weeks until Craft Festival Wales.

We’re thrilled to welcome Heritage Crafts back to Craft Festival Wales, bringing with them makers dedicating their lives to keeping rare and remarkable skills alive.

This year, you can meet drystone waller, Barney Murray, enameller and polisher, Isabella Ossett, Samantha Jones Quiltmaker and milliner, Wade-Evans Design.

Mary Eluned, Sustainability Officer for Heritage Crafts will also be hosting a Panel Discussion on Sunday September 13th at 3.30pm : Living Lineage, What Does Heritage Craft Mean Today? The panel includes Barney Murray and Katy Bevan from Quickthorn Books.

See you there!

Helo ‘na!

Gobeithio bod popeth yn iawn gyda chi? Dw i newydd ddechrau dechrau ar fy nhraed ar ôl Eisteddfod ysblennydd, Y Garreg Las yr wythnos diwethaf. Fe wnes i daro i mewn i gymaint o ffrindiau o Aberteifi a fy nheulu crefft. Onid oedd hi’n wych?!

Os ydych chi’n profi’r iselder ar ôl yr Eisteddfod, codwch eich gên, dim ond 4 wythnos sydd tan Ŵyl Grefft Cymru.

Rydym wrth ein bodd yn croesawu HERITAGE CRAFTS yn ôl i Ŵyl Grefft Cymru, gan ddod â gwneuthurwyr sy’n ymroi eu bywydau i gadw sgiliau prin a rhyfeddol yn fyw gyda nhw.

Eleni, gallwch gwrdd â’r gwneuthurwr waliau cerrig sych, Barney Murray, yr enamelydd a’r sgleiniwr, Isabella Ossett, Samantha Jones, gwneuthurwr cwiltio a hetiwr, Wade-Evans Design.

Bydd Mary Eluned, Swyddog Cynaliadwyedd HERITAGE CRAFTS hefyd yn cynnal Trafodaeth Panel ddydd Sul Medi 13eg am 3.30pm: Llinach Fyw, Beth Mae Crefft Treftadaeth yn ei Olygu Heddiw? Mae’r panel yn cynnwys Barney Murray a Katy Bevan o Quickthorn Books.

Hwyl fawr am y tro!
