I produce willow baskets incorporating mixed media and found objects from my home in Carmel, Dyffryn Nantlle. They are unique and handmade. The name of my business is from the Welsh word ‘helyg’ meaning willow, and ‘Lleu’, the hero of Welsh mythology. The Nantlle Valley is associated with the story of Lleu Llaw Gyffes.
