Function & Form is a sustainable practice business which upholds traditional techniques to create natural, utilitarian pieces for slow living. I design and create all pieces in small batches from my studio in North Yorkshire. Rooted in the belief that objects can be both sculptural and practical. I create pieces that bring joy and contentment when displayed in the home, yet serve a purpose in the house and garden every day. I create all my work upholding traditional craft techniques and keep my production as sustainable as possible, utilising hardwood and metal offcuts and materials which would otherwise be waste. I have a BA in Fine Art from Falmouth University and trained as a Joiner with a sculptural joinery company after my degree. My first book is due to be published in July 2026
