The Owlery is the trade name of Benjamin Partridge, a printmaker and textile artist from Yorkshire Art Space in Sheffield. He designs and make bold and contemporary original surface pattern designs from lino cut and screen prints which feature across a range of homeware, gifts and wal prints. He specialise in printed textiles as well as well as a complementary range of fine art screen prints and illustrations. The subject matter comprises of mainly birds and other woodland animals which are hand drawn using a traditional dip pen and acetate technique before being printed. Ben is a self-taught printmaker with a passion for textiles. His designs are playful and illustrative and designed to bring a splash of colour to any home.
