Influenced by nature’s unseen structures and guided by the minimalist principles of the Bauhaus, my jewellery balances sculptural form with everyday function. I create distinctive, wearable pieces where asymmetry plays a central role, and the harmony of each design is as important as it’s aesthetic.
Attention to detail in both form and function underpins my work. For example, in my rings, comfort and balance are paramount. Each sculptural shank is hand-forged to be weightier at the base, sweeping into an ergonomic curve that hugs the finger—creating a ring that feels as good as it looks. Similarly, clasps are never an afterthought; they are bold, integral elements of the design—often becoming focal points in pendants. I work exclusively in precious metals, alloying my own gold to achieve unique hues and textures. Carefully chosen gemstones enhance each piece, adding vibrant, eye-catching contrast. Every piece is handmade by me using traditional goldsmithing techniques—such as forging, saw piercing, stone setting, and alloying—in my studio at Yorkshire Artspace in Sheffield.
