Emily Higham Jewellery

Emily is a Jeweller and Enameller, who creates colourful and contemporary enamel and sterling silver jewellery inspired by the beautiful colours and patterns of honeycomb, and the structural shapes and layers found within beehives. Emily uses combinations of industrial liquid enamel layered over vitreous enamel, mixed with enamel foils and lustres to create her colourful jewellery pieces. Emily also uses the enamelling technique of Sgraffito, in which she hand draws honeycomb patterns into the surface of enamel, making each piece unique and one of a kind. Emily graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2016 with a BA(Hons) in Jewellery and Silversmithing and in 2017, won the Guild of Enamellers bursary award. Since then, she has been developing her collection from her studio at home in Lancashire and showcases her work at various fairs, exhibitions and galleries throughout the country.
