charlotte reid jewellery

Working from my Hackney Wick studio, I create contemporary jewellery, undertake commissions, redesign inherited pieces, and run small workshops. My work is inspired by architecture and fashion, combining experimentation with materials, texture, form, and colour.
I graduated in 1998 with a 1st Class Honours degree in Jewellery & Silversmithing from Edinburgh College of Art. One of my rings is selected for The Alice & Louis Koch Collection of Rings from the 20th and 21st Century and held in the permanent collection of the Swiss National Museum in Zurich.
Since going full time with my jewellery business in 2012, I have worked from my studio in Hackney Wick, selling online & at shows, undertaking private commissions, redesigning inherited jewellery, and running small jewellery-making workshops. My work is shaped by experimentation with materials, form, texture, & colour, and is influenced by architecture & fashion, ranging from elegant everyday pieces to sculptural rings.
