The Contemporary Craft Festival Wins Gold Again!
Last night at the Plymouth Guildhall, The Contemporary Craft Festival was awarded Gold and crowned Festival of the Year at the Visit Devon awards for the 3rd time. Hosted by travel journalist Simon Calder and arctic explorer Ann Daniels the awards were given after a rigorous three-phase judging process involving 120 judging visits to businesses across Devon.
Festival Director, Sarah James speaks on behalf of the whole team “We’ve entered the awards 3 times so to win every time is quite staggering. I believe it’s because of the exceptional quality of the makers that take part that makes the Festival so special and unique”
With applications for The Contemporary Craft Festival closing on Friday 1st December, there are 7 days left to apply for the official Event of the Year!
