Silver Linings News from the Capital of Craft
I really hope that this finds you safe and well.
In this Silver Linings News, I'm really looking forward to starting our first Live Video chats on Instagram Live with makers we work with and admire. Starting tomorrow at 2pm, (May 6th) we will be chatting on Instagram with maker, designer and Pottery Throwdown judge, Sue Pryke. We'll be talking about her life in making and how she is working during the Lockdown.
On Thursday. I'll be chatting with textile artist, Helen Round and on Monday, I'll be talking to clay animator, Jim Parkyn. You can find me on Instagram @craftfestival and we'll be starting our chats at 2pm. If you have a maker you'd like to chat with, let us know.
Craft Festival LIVE
We are also planning a digital Craft Festival, where you can meet the makers and wander round their studios, watch live demonstrations, take part in live workshops, watch films about craft and even do some yoga. More details to come...
