7 Days Until Bovey!
Written: 30 May 2024
With just 7 days to go, the excitement is building at Craft Festival Towers.
For the final Favourites, before the big day, our good friend, Daniel Carpenter, Executive Director of Heritage Crafts has made some excellent choices. Read on to dicover Daniel's choices.
Heritage Crafts will be bringing a wonderful group of makers to Craft Festival again, all demonstrating their unique skills.
We are launching a New Award at this year's Festival, the People's Choice Award. Buy your tickets online before June 1st and you will be sent a link to choose your favourite from this year's Festival. The Winner will be announced on Sunday June 9th.
See you next week in Bovey Tracey!
Best wishes,
Sarah

Fitch and McAndrew
Between them Hannah and Doug are a ceramics powerhouse and their slip-trailed tableware is instantly recognisable and covetable.
Michelle Mateo
When Michelle received one of our training bursaries two years ago we knew she was on a stellar craft trajectory... the future of split wood basketry is in good hands.
Woodlab
Their commitment to using locally grown timber and their practical approach to passing on the skills of woodworking are a credit to their craft.
Jim Parkyn
You might consider plasticine to be a niche interest, but I defy anyone not to be enamoured of it after ten minutes talking to Jim. You can meet Jim and his Amazing Scene Machine in the Craft Lab all weekend.
Carreducker
Deborah and James have been at the forefront of the British handsewn shoe revival for many years and are as passionate about passing on their skills to others as they are about producing beautiful footwear.
